What is Summer Reading Program?
Summer Reading program is a five week program designed to keep kids and adults reading during the summer months when they otherwise might not. Participants are encouraged to track their reading minutes for each week of the program, and then return to check in their reading logs at the library for prizes. Throughout the weeks we also host fun educational events, crafts, movies and more.
Who can sign up for Summer Reading Program?
We encourage all age groups to join in on Summer Reading fun!
How do I sign up for the Summer Reading Program?
Registration for Summer Reading Program can be completed in person at the front desk. Anyone under the age of 18 years must have an adult signature to participate in our program.
Do I need to have a Taylorville Public Library card to sign up for Summer Reading Program?
You will need a Taylorville Public Library card to check out books from our library, however, you do not need a library card to participate in the Summer Reading Program. For more information on how to obtain a Resident or Non-Resident library card, please contact the library.
